![]() Spacers and Paragon are criminally underrated. Spacers are meh, and Paragon for me seem to be the weakest of the bunch and boring, but maybe I didn't try their full potential yet.ītw I love how the game lets you play however you like? Want to build strong NPC armies? Invest in influence, there are options. When it comes to Growth and Psi-Fish I still need to play them some more to see the extent of their potential. I wonder if other NPC factions work that way. I normally used them to fill in some holes in my armies, but found out they work best when a stack only consists of their units. And I'm talking about using only the faction-specific mods, I'm not even mentioning other cool combos you can create with secret techs etc. And yes I started to notice their power when attacked by their armies in final campaign mission. Not to mention staggering which can "disable" whole armies. Their range, the destructive power (with network lvl 3 ofc), and the healing power are insane. A fully moded army, with two monitors and NC is a beast. So far my fav NPC faction are the Autonoms. ![]() And yeah, I watched WinSlayaGaming videos, he already opened my eyes, I started to notice some things. I mainly created this thread to hear opinions from other players on them and maybe get some helpful insights. It isn't easy to invest in them fully, it probably takes about 50 turns until you'll get everything from them (unlocked tiers, mods etc), assuming you're using doctrines which help you gather Influence. ![]() I'm still in the process of evaluating NPC factions, only after I started playing scenarios I can finally focus on them. ![]()
